Obagi Review…
Many people start with the Obagi starter kit, as I did, but to be honest I’m not sure all the products are completely necessary. The Obagi Nu Derm Gentle Cleanser and Obagi Nu-derm Toner, for instance, are good, but not really necessary. It’s really the Obagi Nu-Derm Clear that is the core product.
Where to start: For beginners I recommend the Obagi C-RX system as it’s gentler and you can move on to the Obagi Nu Derm range which is much stronger. For oily skin use the Obagi Foaming Gel Cleanser. For the eye treatment Elastiderm Night Eye Cream works wonders on lines on the eye area showing signs to fade, just within 1 week usage. One product from the Obagi range I would recommend if you need one thing is Obagi Nu Derm Clear
What about Obagi Tretenoin: This is prescription only and may make your skin more susceptible to sunburn and other adverse effects of the sun. Apply a moisturizer with sunscreen every morning after cleansing. Also, try to avoid excessive exposure to wind or cold. You may also want to try the Obagi Nu Derm Clear first
A word of Caution: The first and second month of treatment needs quite a lot of sacrifice because your skin will shed and peel a lot. And with that, it will be uncomfortable, meaning you will experience itching and sometimes even cuts because you might unconsciously scratch while you are sleeping. This discomfort is a small price to pay for the results. One reminder, once you get into this skin regimen, you have to put on sun block and should stay away from the sun.
